Healing is God's will for His children

Exodus 15:26; Exodus 23:25

Exodus 15:26
And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.

Exodus 23:25
And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.

Healing is God's provision for His covenant children. In the Old Testament, the healing covenant was mad with Isreal and all who desired or chose to come under the covenant of God as given to Moses. It was given to Israel in two parts: the commands and the promises.

The commands are our part and the promises are His part.

A. The commands (Exodus 15:26)

1. Diligently hearken to God's voice: Hear & do. We diligently hear God's voice by acknowledging Him as God and live free from all idolatry.

2. Do that which is right in His sight: We should live righteous lives in His sight by being godly in life and conduct as God, Himself would have you live.

3. Give eare to His commandments: We give ear to the commandments by allowing His Words to be the rule of action as to right and wrong.

4. Keep all His statutes or regulations: We keep all His statues by receiving all His regulations concerning the faith and civil life and consecrate to the same end in life that God, Himself is consecrated to, which is the highest good for all mankind.

5. Serve the Lord (Exodus 23:25): As believers, we must understand that no believer can expect to be immune from sickness unless he meets the conditions but every believer can expect such blessing when he meets them.

B. The Promises (Exodus 15:26)

1. I will put (permit) none of these dieseases upon thee.

2. I am the Lord that health thee. He is Jehovah Ropheka - Jehovah the Healer- Jehovah your Physican that heals you.

3. I will take away sickness from the midst of thee. (Exodus 23:25)

Pastor Goodall and the Dimensions In Christ Fellowship are members of Creflo Dollar Ministerial Association. He is also employed by the Lenoir County School System as an Assistant Principal at Rochelle Middle School in Kinston, NC.
